Hello everyone! 

Lots of people have their own UTAU, one they dedicate a lot of time and effort into creating. Just as important as the voice is the design of the character. Some people even go as far as developing back-stories and character traits for their UTAU, giving them personal quirks and opinions that make them unique and interesting.

Have you ever wanted an MMD model of your UTAU? Ever wanted to see your cherished creation dancing around in MMD to your own covers? Well, this is your opportunity!

I enjoy making model edits, but I have a lot of trouble deciding what to make. In other words, I want to make YOUR UTAU for you! I can make your character as close as possible to your drawn style, accurate colors and eye texture, or I can use a base and face of your choosing. All physics, facials, and extra goodies included! I'll even English name the facials and materials! No compensation required, no trades, no fuss!

What do I need? :
  1. I want UTAUs with at least one detailed character reference, including colors. If I choose you, I may ask for additional drawings relating to model details. This is to make sure I'm making the model as accurate to your vision as possible.
  2. It needs to be a finished UTAU (finished enough to be usable as a voicebank) with at least one sound/song example for me to hear. It's ok if it isn't public or downloadable.
  3. I need to see some MMD work done by the UTAU's creator. I want to make sure that the UTAU's model will actually be used; seeing some MMD stuff will help prove this to me.
  4. UTAUs with backstories or fleshed out characteristics get extra consideration. Similarly, UTAUs with lots of creator-drawn or commissioned fanart will get more attention. What i really wanna see is that you really care about your UTAU's character. It won't guarantee winning, of course, but it sure will help you.
   
     I will only consider submissions via comments on this post. This will be most helpful for me by keeping the submissions organized. Submissions by note will be ignored except for special circumstances.

Now, how about rules: 
  1. In the end, looks do matter. I will only pick a UTAU I think I can do justice. This probably won't be an issue in 95% of cases, but models with animal parts beyond ears and a tail or cyber models with complicated robotic parts probably won't be picked.
  2. If your model is picked, I'll need your Skype (if you have one) so we can quickly communicate about model stuff. You can request certain parts on your model, but the final decision will be up to me. I'm also going to avoid TDA as much as possible. Being the strict rules of staying 'TDA-styled' , it'd be less hassle for the both of us if we just agree to NOT use TDA anything. If you don't like that, don't enter.
  3. I WILL NOT USE ILLEGAL PARTS. The part must at least be editable. If you want me to distribute publicly, it needs to be distributable. If it's distributable after creator permission, I won't use it. Game parts are debatable. I want to avoid anything Sims, and I won't use any Sega/Ubisoft rips. It all depends on what the part is and how hard of a time I'm having finding a similar part.
  4. Once you have your model, you may edit it if you're so inclined. However, I'd rather you not distribute unless it's privately to friends. This is to be sure that the credits don't get lost or ignored.
  5. Schmoozing won't help you. Watching me just because of the contest won't help (I will be noting the winner, so you'll know whether or not u won without need to watch). In fact, it turns me off a little. Just submit your entry and sit back. Don't over-complicate things.
  6. I will change this and the rest of the stuff as needed.
